197AF Karnastatic Cement
Karnak #197AF Karnastatic "Slaters" Cement is prepared from a blend of selected asphalts, special additives, mineral fibers and refined solvents. This composition is then passed through a high speed mixer which results in a smooth trowel-like-consistency in the finished product.
Karnak #197AF Karnastatic Cement dries to a firm and hard finish. Because of its rapid curing action, Karnak #197AF Karnastatic Cement is dry to the touch in just a few hours.
USES
Because Karnak #197AF Karnastatic Cement will not run or sag on vertical surfaces, it is ideal for use on: Flashings and parapet walls. As a gutter liner for either metal or wooden gutters. Dampproofing exterior masonry walls.
SURFACE PREPARATION
All surfaces should be clean and free of all dust, dirt, oil, grease, rust, loose paint or other foreign matter.
COVERAGE RATE
Apply at the rate of 4 to 6 gallons per 100 sq. ft.
CARE OF TOOLS
Tools and other equipment should be thoroughly cleaned with mineral spirits, taking necessary precautions when handling flammable materials.
CAUTION
Do not use near open flame. Avoid breathing solvent fumes and prolonged contact with skin. Do not take internally. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately. Keep out of reach of children. Keep container covered when not in use. Do not thin. Dispose of in an environmentally safe manner.
