502 RC-W Elasto-Kote
502 RC-W Elasto-Kote is a one component, fluid applied thermoplastic roofing system. It needs no intermixing, is easy to apply and results in surfaces of outstanding appearance and protection. RC-W provides a tough, flexible, elastic film that exhibits excellent color retention, weather resistance.
USES
502 RC-W may be applied to concrete block, brick, concrete, stucco, steel, metal, wood, previously coated surfaces and most spray polyurethane roof surfaces. Do not apply over asphalt.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Proper surface preparation is important. All surfaces that 502 RC-W is to be applied must be clean, dry, free from ridges, sharp projections and other defects. Concrete decks must be cured for a minimum of 30 days. Patch and repair all cracks or holes with 502 Seam Sealer and Resat-Mat/Metal Seam Sealing Tape or appropriate sealants or caulking materials prior to application.
APPLICATION
Apply Karnak 502 RC-W Self Priming Base Coat first at the rate of 1-1.5 gallons per 100 sq.ft. Allow base coat to dry 24 hours before applying 502 RC-W Elasto-Kote Finish at the rate of 1-1.5 gallons per 100 sq.ft. Apply both products by brush, roller or spray. Coverage may vary depending on the porosity and irregularity of the surface.

CARE OR EQUIPMENT
Tools and other equipment should be thoroughly cleaned with mineral spirits, taking necessary precautions when handling combustible materials.
CAUTIONS
Do not use near open flame. Avoid breathing solvent fumes and prolonged contact with skin. Do not take internally. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately. Keep out of reach of children. Keep container covered when not in use. Do not thin. Dispose of in an environmentally safe manner. Cover air intakes during application and while drying.
PACKAGING
Available in 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums.
COLORS
Available in the following standard colors: White, Patina Green, Tan, Terra Cotta Red and Gray.
NOTE: COLD-PROCESS SYSTEMS AND COATINGS, EITHER EMULSION OR SOLVENT BASED, SHOULD ONLY BE INSTALLED ON DECKS WITH POSITIVE DRAINAGE.
