78AF Cold Process Cement

Karnak #78AF Cold Process Cement is a multi-purpose fast setting asphalt cement which can be used a blind nail or lap cement with prepared rolled roofing. Karnak #78AF Cold Process Cement can also be used in conjunction with any of Karnak's Cold Process Roofing Systems (i.e.: P-21, P-22) or with other manufacturers' coated fiberglass felts and base sheets.

All surfaces to be coated should be dry and free of all dust, dirt or other loose debris.

BRUSH APPLICATION: Under normal conditions, Karnak #78AF Cold Process Cement should be applied by brush at the rate of 2 gallons per 100 sq. ft.

SPRAY APPLICATION: On large roof areas Karnak #78AF Cold Process Cement can be sprayed using airless spray equipment. Application should be made at the rate of 2 to 2 1/2 gallons per 100 sq. ft.


Do not use near open flame. Avoid breathing solvent fumes and prolonged contact with skin. Do not take internally. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately. Keep out of reach of children. Keep container covered when not in use. Do not thin. Dispose of in an environmentally safe manner.


Available in 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums.
