| USES Karnak
#502 RC-W Elasto-Kote is intended for use on concrete block, brick,
cinder block, concrete, stucco, steel, wood, galvanized
metal and previously coated surfaces. Do not apply over
asphaltic surfaces.
SURFACE PREPARATION Allow
fresh masonry to cure for 30 days before application of Karnak #502
RC-W Elasto-Kote. Surface to be coated should be clean, free from
dirt, dust, grease, oil and loose paint. Patch and repair all cracks
or holes with appropriate sealants or caulking materials.
APPLICATION Mix
Karnak #502 RC-W Elasto-Kote thoroughly with a mechanical mixer
prior to application of tile coating. Karnak #502 RC-W Elasto-Kote
may be applied by brush, roller or spray application.
ROLLER APPLICATION: Roller
application should be made in a two coat application so as to
allow a total dry film thickness of a minimum of 16 mils.
BRUSH APPLICATION:
When brushing, make sure Karnak #502 RC-W Elasto-Kote is not applied
too thin, and brush out all overlap marks.
SPRAY APPLICATION:
Spray in a cross hatch method so as to achieve a pinhole-free
surface. Utilize a standard spray pump. Equipment manufacturer
should be consulted for more complete information.
ARCHITECTURAL COLORS Standard
colors are: White & Gray; Tan, Terra Cotta Red, and Patina Green are available for of 210 gallons or greater.
COVERAGE RATE Apply Karnak #502 RC-W Elasto-Kote Self-Priming Base Coat first at the rate of 1 to 1.5 gallons per 100 sq. ft. and allow to dry. Complete by applying #502 RC-W Elasto-Kote Finish Coat at the rate of 1 to 1.5 gallons per 100 sq.ft. Coverage rate will
vary due to texture and porosity of the surface. Film thickness
should be approximately 16-19 mils dry and 32-48 mils wet. Karnak #502
RC-W Elasto-Kote will take approximately 24 hours to cure.
CARE OF TOOLS Tools
may be cleaned with xylol, mineral spirits or lacquer solvents.
Take necessary safety precautions when handling flammable materials.

CAUTION Do
not use near open flame. Avoid breathing solvent fumes and prolonged
contact with skin. do not take internally. If swallowed, do not
induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately. Keep out of reach
of children. Keep container covered when not in use. Do not thin.
Dispose of in an environmentally safe manner.
PACKAGING Available
in 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums.
NOTE:
COLD-PROCESS SYSTEMS AND COATINGS, EITHER EMULSION OR SOLVENT
BASED, SHOULD ONLY BE INSTALLED ON DECKS WITH POSITIVE DRAINAGE.
