100 Non-Fibered Emulsion is a general purpose non-fibered emulsion roof coating prepared from an asphalt binder, carefully refined and emulsified in water by means of selected colloids. The asphalt emulsion thus produced is of heavy paint consistency. 100 Non-Fibered Emulsion is a tough, flexible black-asphalt compound especially designed to provide excellent protection to most roof surfaces against weathering. 100 Non-Fibered Emulsion will not burn or support combustion in a liquid state. It has no odor or fumes and resists the absorption of exterior moisture.

100 Non-Fibered Emulsion is used to coat and protect low-slope asphalt roofs, modified bitumen membranes, metal corrugated roofs as well as concrete, wood and most backup materials.
Weight per Gallon: 8.5 lbs
Solids by Weight: 52% Nominal
Solids by Volume: 49% Nominal
Color: Black
Permeance: 0.5 metric perms
Application Temp.: 40°F to 120°F
Dry Time: 2 to 4 hours @ 77°F and 50% Relative Humidity
Cure Time: 24 to 48 hours @ 77°F and 50% Relative Humidity
Service Temp (Cured Film): -5°F to 180°F
SURFACE PREPARATION:
All surfaces should be clean and free from oil, grease, dust, dirt and other foreign matter. Recommended application temperature is 40°F to 120°F. Dry surfaces may be dampened with water before application.
APPLICATION:
100 Non-Fibered Emulsion is easily applied by brush or airless spray equipment. When brushing apply with a soft wide fiber brush in even strokes, feathering the primer on the surface to obtain a smooth, uniform film. Work coating into all cracks and crevices.
COVERAGE RATE:
Apply at 3 to 4 gallons per 100 sq. ft. (48-64 wet mils) depending upon porosity and irregularity of the surface.
Do not apply when rain is imminent. Protect from freezing. Coating must be dried before exposure to water. Store in a heated room and keep container covered when not in use. Do not thin. Avoid prolonged contact with skin. Dispose of in an environmentally safe manner. Exterior use only.
CARE OF TOOLS:
Tools and other equipment should be cleaned with water immediately after use. Dried coating may be cleaned with mineral spirits. Take necessary precautions when handling combustible material.
